Bye-bye Internet Explorer
It’s been a little more than a week that Microsoft’s support for Internet Explorer 10 and below ended and it’s just about time!
Web technologies and the possibilities they provide continue to evolve at high speed, improving the user experience significantly along the way and browsers such as Internet Explorer 8 — released almost 8 years ago back in 2008 — just can’t keep up with it any more.
We always aim for highest quality standards, best possible user experiences and certainly don’t shy away from utilizing bleeding edge technology if it helps to achieve these goals!
We’re in this for long enough to remember how frustrating and annoying it was to ensure at least basic backward compatibility with significantly outdated releases of the Internet Explorer just a few years ago.
Internet Explorer 11 and Edge might not be perfect of course and they’re still lacking in many ways but it is a step in the right direction at least!
Needless to say that we truly appreciate Microsoft’s decision and absolutely recommend to upgrade as soon as you possibly can in order to experience best possible user experiences and most of all keep your system secure and up to date!
Bye-bye Internet Explorer 8, 9 & 10 — we probably won’t miss you too much!
